Walking is sufficient cardio to get ripped. Yes, you can gain muscle and walk. Of course you will have to lift weights or engage in some strength training. Let’s talk walking
If you’re new to walking you want to work your way up to long distances. If you’ve never walked before, try walking just 5 minutes a day for one week. Then gradually add on a minute here or there. Hopefully by week three you’ll be up to 10-15 minutes. Take it slow. Ultimately you want to work your way up to 30 minutes to an hour.
If you have walked off and on before, start with 10 to 15 minutes a day for one week and continue to add on minutes from there.
If you’re used to walking shoot for 30 minutes or more a day.
